Climbing in Espoo

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does climbing cost in Espoo?

Climbing usually takes place at commercial centres, so it costs more than volunteer sports: junior courses commonly run from around one hundred euros upwards, plus any entry or equipment hire. Exact prices are shown on each club's or centre's own page.

What age is climbing suitable for?

Children can start bouldering from around ages five to seven, with roped climbing usually introduced later once they are ready for belaying and safety systems. Groups are organised by age and experience so skills build up safely over time.
