Lahden Tanssiopisto

Lahden Tanssiopisto (Lahti Dance Institute), founded in 1983, is the largest dance school in the Päijät-Häme region, with almost 700 dance and circus students. It provides basic education in the arts (taiteen perusopetus) in dance under both the extended and general syllabi. Its offering includes children's dance, contemporary, show dance, ballet, jazz, street styles and heels, as well as circus and acrobatics. There are groups for all ages, from children and youth to adults. Classes are held in Lahti at the Valo shopping centre and in Orimattila.
