LGBTQIA+ Speedfriending Event

Would you like to find a new friend, acquaintance or even a bestie? Or do you simply want to practice meeting new people? On Friday, October 23, from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, IrisHelsinki is hosting a speedfriending event designed for meeting new people in a LGBTQIA+ friendly and safer setting. We’ll start the evening with casual conversation over a cup of cocoa. At 5:00 PM, we’ll begin with a group introduction, followed by rounds where each participant chats with every other participant for a few minutes. After the rounds, there will be time for relaxed socializing and board games. The event is aimed at LGBTQAI+ youth aged 16–25; we respect everyone's right to self-definition. IrisHelsinki’s "safer space" principles apply to the event. Registration is open until Wednesday, October 22. Space is limited, so please sign up via this link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/V19q10Bmrw The event is free of charge and will be held in Finnish. Tabletop Role-Playing Game Anthology

Welcome to the Role-Playing Game Anthology! If you have seen popular television programmes show games of Dungeons & Dragons and are curious to try it out yourself, this is the right place. We will play different kinds of tabletop role-playing games in a variety of fantasy or science fiction settings. Anyone is welcome. You don’t need any previous experience playing or running games. If you do and are curious to try out a new game, that is also fine. On some evenings we might delve into a horror themed game, that would be less suitable for younger participants, but we can adjust the content based on who wants to play. You do not need to bring anything. Dice and other material will be provided. The language will be English. October 24th November 7th November 21st Drop by anytime! LGBTQ+ gaming: Gaymers' Night

Come and spend some time with your favourites games, either alone or with friends! We have powerful gaming PCs, Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5 consoles, and VR equipment for use. Gaymers' Night is hosted at the same time as IrisHelsinki LGBTQ+ youth evenings. We follow age ratings for games, and K18 or M-rated games are not allowed at all. Use your own gaming account when playing on PCs: make sure to bring your own Steam, Battle.net or other gaming account with you! You can download your own games on the computers, and in addition to the games at Youth Centre, you can play your own games on the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5 consoles, if you bring them with you.
