Taking Charge of Daily Life – support for parents of neurodivergent children
Taking Charge of Daily Life offers practical tips, peer support, and new perspectives for parents of neurodivergent children to make everyday family life smoother. Do you need practical tips for making daily life easier with a neurodivergent child? Welcome to this group for parents, where we'll work together to find effective ways to ease the whole family's daily routines. The group will cover topics like routines, anticipation, transitions, emotional regulation, sensory sensitivities, and parents' own well-being. The goal of these meetings is to provide concrete tools for daily life and a chance to share experiences with other parents in similar situations. The group is led by volunteer Janni Ekman, a solution-focused neurodevelopmental coach. A warm welcome to find new perspectives and effective solutions to support your daily life!
Children's Church is a church service for everyone, big and small. We'll sing children's hymns, hear a Bible story, and take communion together or receive a blessing. It's a great place to get used to church, and it's perfectly fine if kids don't want to sit still. After the service, you can stay for juice boxes!
